Albert Bennie Lee Brockington was born November 13, 1938 ,to the union of Thado and Comer Brockington of Morrilton, Arkansas.

Albert moved to Kansas City, Kansas in his early teens.

Albert's father and two brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Albert departed this life on Sunday, January 18, 2004.

Albert received his education in Kansas City, Kansas.He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.He was a member of the UAW Local 31.

Albert was baptized at an early age by Reverand W.H. Bowens. He then restored his membership at Mount Zion Church under the leadership of Pastor C.L. Bachus. Albert also sang with the Male Chorus.

Albert leaves to cherish his memory : his mother, Comer Brockington of Kansas City,Kansas ; one son, Alvin Brockington of Kansas City , Ks.; one daughter, Virgie Lee Mitchell (Monroe) of Kansas City,Ks.;two brothers, Percy L. Brockiington (Shirley) and Billy J. Brockington(Marion) of Kansas City, Ks.;five sisters Ida Parks (PJ) of Morrilton, Ar.Louvenia Verser (Tom) of Lansing, Mi.; Bernice Clark, Mary L. Boyd, Betty L. Fowler , all of Kansas City, KS.;five grandchildren,seven great grandchildren as well as a host of nephews,neices, cousins, other relatives and friends.
