Carlos Sutton, 85, Henderson, died at 3:40 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at Pine Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center in Evansville.
He was retired from Whirlpool and a member of Hyland Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Verna Mae Sutton; and son, Carlos Sutton Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sutton; one son, Dr. William Sutton of Mount Vernon, Ind.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Pearcy will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hyland Baptist Church Building Fund.
