Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the J. F. Jones Funeral Chapel for the late Mrs. Jennie H. McDowell. Burial will be in the Buckley cemetery. The Rev. W. O. Benadom will officiate. Mrs. MacDowell passed away suddenly at her home Tuesday morning. Death was due to heart disease.
Mrs. MacDowell was 50 years old. She was born at Minersville, Kansas, and had made her home here for the last 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, three sons, Edward, Robert Jr., and Earl, two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Pirtle of South Prairie, and Mrs. Agnes Mason of Tacoma, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster, of Algona, two brothers, Fred Foster of Algona and Albert of Fairfax, and one sister, Mrs. Amy Humphrey of Fairfax.
