Priscilla C. Thompson, 95, of Inverness, died Friday, May 30, 2003. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Thompson moved to Sumter County from North Carolina in 1954. She was an insurance agent, and a co-founder of Central Florida Insurance, Inc., established in 1955. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Bushnell. She is survived by one son, Art Thompson of Lake Panasoffkee; and three grandchildren, Laurie Anne Thompson of Boca Raton, Mary Beth Gumbart, Macon, Ga., and John Carl Thompson, Centerville, Va. Funeral Services for Mrs. Thompson will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Purcell Funeral Home Chapel, Bushnell, with the Rev. Larry Armbrust officiating. Entombment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Bushnell.
