Mrs. Faye Foore, 86, 1914 S. L. St., died at the Dickey Nursing Home Tuesday at 11 p.m. after several months illness. She was born March 25,1885, in Tipton County, a daughter of John and Emma Sosbe. She was a member of the South P Street Wesleyan Church. Her first husband, Edward Hook,died in 1950. She later married Harvey Foore who died in 1970. Surviviors include two daughters, Mrs. Orville Jones,Montpelier, and Mrs. Dorothy Scott, Chicago; four sons, Raymond Hook, Elwood; Cecil Hook, Anderson; Henry Hook, Chicago; and Robert Hook, El Cajon, Calif; one brother, Thurman Sosbe, Rochester; 13 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery.
