Ahadi, Abdulahad M.D. (Ahad) Departed this life on February 28. Beloved husband of Gisela; proud and loving father of Stephan (Maria), Fritz (Penny), Lisa (Dan), and Dietrich; loving grandfather of Andrew, Amanda, Blake, Eli, Dante, and Sidra; beloved brother, uncle, and brother-in-law. He was born in Abhar, Iran in 1932. A graduate of Heidelberg University Medical School in Germany, he came to the United States in 1959. After his internship at St. Anthony's Hospital, he completed his residency training at St. Louis City and County Hospitals. He worked for the St. Louis City and County Health Departments in several capacities until his retirement. During that time he also served as a Community Receptor for St. Louis University. He was a devoted reader and student of Persian history. The family would like to thank the St. Luke's hospice team for their excellent care. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association . Services: Funeral at the ORTMANN STIPANOVICH Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Sat. March 8 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Private interment at Bellerive Gardens.
