MARGARET H. MURPHY
Margaret "Hazel" Holt Murphy, 80, 2827 W. 18th St., died Friday at Community Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born April 24, 1912, in Liberty and spent most of her life in Anderson. She was a custodian for the South Madison School Corp., and she was a seamstress.
She was a member of Beech Grove Church of the Brethren and various other groups at the church.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Raymond Foust of Paso Robles, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Partain of Anderson and Mrs. Richard (Mary Esther) Beason of Jerome, Idaho; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bruce (Mildred) Filbrun of Pendleton; a sister, Ann Lowder of Pendleton; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her first husband, Ernest R. Foust died in 1972, her second husband, Noah I. Holt, died in 1981, and her third husband, Donald J. Murphy died in 1990.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Beech Grove Church of the Brethren with Pastor Phil Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
