Funeral Rites Held for Mrs. Ella Hatch, Age 79
Funeral rites for Ella Nora Hatch were held at the Peterson Chapel with Rev. Hugh Miller officiating. Mrs. Earl Peterson was the soloist. Pallbearers were: Robert Lavine, Dewey Dixon, Robert Dixon, John Dixon, Glenn Dixon and Clifford Furtney. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery at Rockford, MN.
Born October 18, 1881 to Aaron and Martha Furtney near Ortonville, Minnesota, she was married to Samuel Hatch August 25, 1907. She died October 20, 1960 at the age of 79 years and two days. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Those left to mourn her passing are one daughter, Mrs. Henry Lavine of Buffalo, three granddaughters, Mrs. Frank Kelley of Minneapolis, Mrs. John Rohl of Anoka and Mrs. Donald Hanson of Minneapolis, also six nieces; Mrs. Martha Gilbert of Buffalo, with whom Mrs. Hatch lived until moving to Minneapolis about a year ago, Mrs. Arlie Hager of Wenatchee, Washington, Mrs. George Swanson of Minneapolis, Mrs. Donald Payne of Minneapolis, and Miss Pearl Hatch of Minneapolis.
Nine nephews, Henry Lavine, Robert Lavine, Dewey Dixon, Robert Dixon, John Dixon, Glenn Dixon, all of Buffalo, Harold Lavine of Elk River, Clifford Furtney of Minneapolis, and Arthur Hatch of St. Paul survive her, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.


HATCH: Ella (Furtney), age 79, of 2548 Pleasant Avenue, South, formerly of Buffalo. Survived by daughter, Elva (Mrs. Henry Lavine) of Buffalo. Services Sunday 2:30 p.m. at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Rockford.
