GRAVESIDE SERVICES HELD FOR FORMER DAYTON RESIDENT
DAYTON, Aug. 27 - Graveside services were held at the Brookside cemetery last Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Flora Bell Hash Fletcher, 83, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Adria E. Monk, at Rockaway, Monday, August 17.
Mrs. Fletcher was born at Dayton, September 30, 1859. She was married to William P. Sweeney in 1878, who died in 1885. To this union were born three children, one of whom, Alfred J. Sweeney of Dayton, survives. Later Mrs. Sweeney married John W. Fletcher, who died in January, 1913. Two daughters of this union Mrs. Adria E. Monk of Rockaway, and Mrs. Doris I. Paul of Portland, survives. A sister, Mrs. Adria Philps of Rockaway and nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, also survive.
Mrs. Fletcher's early life was spent in Dayton, where she was a charter member of the United Artisans.
