Edna Marie Doll, 94, of Hastings, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at Perkins Pavillion.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 1 pm at the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar, NE with Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangments by the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com.
Edna was born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 23, 1918 and adopted at the age of 17 days by George M. and Nellie (McCauley) Boddye. She grew up in Edgar, Nebraska and graduated from Edgar High School in 1935. She married Virgil R. Doll on July 6, 1935 in Phillipsburg, Kansas.
She was a member of the U.Y.U. (United Trainman's Union) Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary of Marysville, Kansas.
Edna is survived by two sons, Stanley and wife Karen of Universal City, Texas and Ronald and wife Judy of Old Hickory, Tennessee, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Marie Ann, parents, husband Virgil and half-sister Velma McDonald.
