In 1942 she was photographed sitting on a park bench with Marilyn Monroe and an old lady. This picture appeared in the 1942 edition of Good Housekeeping. She married and raised three daughters and a son. She worked with a lot of the great stars of the day. She was a descendant of US Chief Justice, John Marshall.
