Lowell was very involved with the people and he became very well known and trusted throughout Polk County. After retiring he still had many customers who only wanted him so he stayed spraying for those as more of a hobby than a job.
He loved people, and people loved him. His family was the most important part of his life as he wanted them around him all the time. He was a joyful, fun loving husband, father, grandfather and man who loved to hunt and fish. He taught that love of the outdoors to both his children, who in turn taught it to there’s. He also loved sports and gave that love to his children. He was a member for many years of the Haines City Athletic Boosters. It really didn’t matter to him which game was on TV as long as it was sports, baseball, football or golf. He also followed all the games of his children, grandchildren and even the great grandchildren for as long as his health allowed. He was also active in his community be being a 25 year member of the Haines City Volunteer
