Ronald "Ron" J. Kirby of Billings passed away on October 20, 2008 in Billings, MT.
Ron was born February 11, 1950 the son of Loren "Jack" and Pat Kirby in Jordan, MT. Ron was raised by Jack and, his grandmother, Dolly Kirby. Diana (Mellville) Kirby has been Ron's mother since his early adult years. He attended school in Jordan and graduated from Jordan High School in 1968. He married Jean S. Randall and they had three sons Sherman, Chadwick, and Jarrett. Through the years, they lived in Glendive and Miles City where Ron worked for Tom Randall and Doeden Construction before moving to Billings where he has lived the past 20 years.
Ron lived in Billings for the past several years. He has lived in Jordan, Miles City, Glendive and Moses Lake, WA. Ron enjoyed being with family. He also enjoyed being with friends and playing a good game of Texas Hold ‘em.
Ron is preceded in death by his mother Pat and stepbrother Kelly. Ron is survived by his parents Jack and Diana of Jordan, MT, stepsiblings: Karen and Dennis of Jordan, MT, and his three sons: Sherman (Erin) of Billings, MT, Chad (Lisa) Hartford, CT and Jarrett of Billings, MT and eight grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
