Tricia Nostrand Gonzalez lost her valiant fight with ovarian cancer on January 19, 2006 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Tricia was born on November 23, 1958 in Mount Vernon, NY to the late Charles A. Nostrand, Jr., and JoAnn Nostrand. She graduated from Sleepy Hollow H.S. in 1976, and from Marymount College in 1980, with a B.A. in Studio Art and Economics. Tricia was the Art Director at Westchester Magazine, upon graduation from Marymount College, and served as Senior Art Director at Cliggorr Publishing Corp. in Darien, CT, for the past 16 years, where she made wonderful friends. Tricia married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Wil Gonzalez, Jr. on October 12, 1985, and they shared an extraordinary 30 year love. She served as President of the Board at Castle Heights Cooperative for six years and leaves behind many dear friends. She was also an active volunteer at Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow. Tricia is survived by her devoted husband Wil Gonzalez, Jr. of Tarrytown, and her mother, JoAnn Nostrand of Tarrytown, as well as her loving sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Steve Finn of Blauvelt, NY, and her caring brother Charles A. Nostrand, III and sister-in-law and friend Kathy Nostrand of Newtown, CT. She was a special and magical aunt to Ryan Finn of Blauvelt, NY and Amanda and Molly Nostrand of Newtown, CT, and Katherine Gonzalez of Florida. She is also survived by aunts and uncles: Bea and Roc Orsino of Tarrytown, NY and Dee and Len Carlson, of Keystone Heights, FL, as well as her loving in-laws: Wilfredo and Caridad Gonzalez of Sleepy Hollow, and brothers-in-law: Dave (Betsy) Gonzalez of Florida, and Doug Gonzalez of New Rochelle, NY. Tricia was the special granddaughter of the late Alba Ginnetti of Sleepy Hollow, and Charles A. Nostrand, Sr. of Mount Vernon. Tricia will be remembered for her artistic nature, her love of animals, and her amazing ability to touch everyone in a unique and positive way. She will be missed by her cats, Scout and Dash, who she loved
