Army Spc. Roy Russell Buckley 24, of Portage, Indiana. Buckley was aboard a M818 truck traveling in a convoy when he exited the passenger compartment, climbed into the trailer and did not return. Buckley was discovered lying on the side of the road with serious injuries. Medical aid was summoned and he was pronounced dead. Buckley was assigned to the 685th Transportation Company, Hobart, Indiana. Died on April 22, 2003.
