Della Martin was the daughter of James Andrew and Fanny (Rood) Martin. She married William E. Wellfort on April 15, 1899. There were no children. When William died her twin brother Deora moved on her farm with her to help take care of it until his death. They were very close. Her other brothers and sisters were: Alonzo Francis, Flora Effie, Alva Louis, Elmer, Mary Agnes, Clarence, Ruby J., Dora, and William Everett (my grandfather).
On her farm she raised sheep, cows, and chicken. It was a wonderful place to go to visit. I have many great memories of her and uncle Dee as we called him. She is greatly missed still.
