Lois Mae Lucas, 85 of Chattanooga died Thursday, June 2, in a Chattanooga hospital.She was born and lived in Rhea County until 1970, thereafter moving to Hamilton County where she retired from the Days Inn as a custodian. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Annie Williams Trew, husband, Thomas Rose, two daughters, Virginia Dagley and Elizabeth Bolton, son, Billy Dagley, Brother, Bert Trew and sister, Maude Tilley. Survivors include, one son Jay Rose of Soddy Daisy, two daughters, Regina (Rick) Collins of Chattanooga and Betty Lou Weidner of St. Petersburg, Fla., step mother, Maudie Trew of Spring City, sister-in-law, Mary Trew Kelly of Spring City, 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and nieces. Services were held Saturday, June 4, in the chapel of Vanderwall Funeral Home with Rev. William Beasley officiating. Burial followed in Ad-Smith Cemetery in Spring City.
