His obituary is in the Truro Daily News of Monday 22 July 1907, Page 7 and reads "Obituary - The death occurred on Wednesday, July 3, at West Indian Road, of Ezekiel, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. M. Pineo, aged eighteen months. This child will be much missed in the family circle, as he was a bright and attractive little fellow. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. T. Erving, of Shubenacadie. The remains were laid to rest in the Methodist burying ground at Nine Mile River, on July 5."
