PAMELA SUE DUKE SEAY
Pamela Sue Duke Seay passed away on January 30, 2002 in San Antonio, Texas after a lengthy illness.
Pam was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Charles Vernon and Dorothy Duke on August 27, 1945. Pam was a graduate of Burkburnett High School. She eared a Bachelor's Degree from UTSA and a Master's Degree from UT-Dallas. Her employment career including working as an economist with the Department of Labor in Dallas, Texas; serving as an administrator with Fair Foundation Children's Homes in Tyler, Texas; working as a church secretary at Prairie Creek Baptist Church in Plano, Texas; and later serving as treasure of Forestburg Baptist church in Forestburg, Texas. At the time of her death, Pam was a faithful Christian and member of Churchill Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas. Pam was a loving wife to James (Jim) Seay for 39 years.
Pam was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Duke.
Pam is survived by her husband Jim; sons Jeff and Jack, daughter in law Casey and grandson Tyler of San Antonio, Texas; father Vernon Duke and stepmother Beth Duke of Burkburnett, Texas; brother Charles (Chuck) Duke and family of El Paso, Texas; stepbrother Michael Tayntor and family of Wichita Falls, Texas; and numerous loving family member and friends.
Visitation will be between the hours of 7 and 8 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2002 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home located at 101 South Avenue D in Burkburnett, Texas. A funeral service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2002 at First Baptist Church in Burkburnett, Texas. A graveside service will follow at the Burkburnett Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2002 at Churchill Baptist Church, San Antonio, Texas.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 950 Isom Road, San Antonio, Texas.
