Mikeleen was born June 10, 1947 in Beloit, Wisconsin the daughter of Lyle and Geraldine (Fitzgerald) Kranz. On March 15, 1969 (the Ides of March) she married Patrick Finucan and they later divorced. After high school she attended cosmetology college in Madison, Wisconsin and eventually operated her own beauty salon for many years in Lyndon Station with her good friend, Linda Churchill. In the Lyndon area she was an emergency medical technician with the Lyndon Station rescue squad and 1st responders and was also a member of the fire department auxiliary. Later she worked at Riverview Park in Wisconsin Dells as a safety supervisor and lastly worked at HoChunk Casino as a gaming supervisor. Mikeleen had a wonderful knack for developing friendships with all the people she met and worked with. She was a loving grandmother and was an active mom in her own children’s lives by attending sporting events and helping manage and transport the other neighborhood kids as well.
Mikeleen is survived by a son, Jarrod (Dana) Finucan of Lyndon Station; a daughter, Melissa Dunse of LaValle, Wisconsin; a brother, Francis (Vickie) Kranz and their sons, Trevor and Trenton of Wisconsin Dells; and grandchildren, Sidnei, Owen, Shain, Deakin, Guthrie, Wyatt, Serissa, Jesse and Zaxstyn. She was preceded in death by her parents.
