In her working life outside the home, Louise was an early adopter of technology, and used an early version of computers in the 1940's. Her husband, Fred, was the proprietor of Buehler Brothers Meats/Tru Value Market on 10th and H Streets.
She raised 3 boys and a girl with much love and patience. Louise was also an excellent cook. Her grandchildren called her "Grandma B," and were the loves of her life and she also had a very soft spot in her heart for animals. In later life, she would even purposefully sit in a chair more dimly lit to read because her cat was so peacefully sleeping in the chair next to the light.
Her husband died when she was 67 and she remained a single widow for the next 21 years until her death in 1995.
Louise is remembered for her kindness and unconditional love, humor and love of life.
