Funeral service for Mr. Grady Jefferson Guice, 90, of Alexander City, will be Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Graveside at Hillview Memorial Park. Dr. John Watkins and Bro. John Harold Denney will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Mr. Guice passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Chapman Healthcare Center. He was born on July 11, 1923 in Tallapoosa County to Jefferson Guice and Annie W. Guice.

Mr. Guice loved to fish, hunt and work in the garden. He also enjoyed vacationing on the Florida beaches.

He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Guice Dean (Donnie); niece, Ruby Lee Denney (John Harold) plus numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Sanford Waller Guice; father, Jefferson Guice; mother, Annie W. Guice.

The family extends a special thank you to Chapman Healthcare Center nurses, staff and Dr. Sunil Sharma.
