"Oklahoma Woman Kills Self As Husband Dies: Within an hour after her husband had died in a local hospital from injuries suffered in an oil field explosion, Mrs. Charles McLaughlin shot and killed herself in her home here early today. McLaughlin was injured Tuesday by parts of drilling machinery blown out of a gas well that had been ignited."
The death certificates show that Charles died at 5pm of his wounds, and that Fannie died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound an hour later.
