A native of Estill County, she was the daughter of the late George and Susie Powell Woosley. She was a seamstress at Kentucky Textiles for 27 years before retiring and a member of the First Baptist Church, Main St., Paris.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-laws, Susie and Danny Jackson of Paris, Vicki and Jerry Baker of Paris and Elaine McDonald of Cynthiana; seven grandchildren, Robert and Julianne Jackson, Eric and Shane Jackson, Ethan Jackson, Randi and Joel Reid, Luke Goodwin, Bruce and Paula McDonald and Shawn and Joanna McDonald; ten great grandchildren, Justin McDonald, Noah McDonald, Colin McDonald, Kendall McDonald, Blake McDonald, Gracie McDonald, Brendan Jackson, Eli Plossay, Jack Jackson and Ashlyn Reid; three sisters and two brother-in-laws, Phyllis and Thomas Webster of Owenton, Linda and Roger Dampier of Paris and Dorcas Mae Oakes of Owenton and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Woosley and Harvey Woosley and one sister Pearlie Mae Means.
Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday September 13, 2008 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Reed. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Lexington Rd., Paris.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and son-in-laws.
