Louis R Gregory 72 of 1527 Leslie St, Bossier City, La died at 1 a.m. Tuesday in Schumpert Medical Center after a short illness.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today in Boone Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Dr. George Pearce pastor of First United Methodist Church.
A native of Bartlet, Tennessee Mr Gregory lived in Bossier City 19 years. He was employed by Superior Funeral Car Sales and for a number of years served as manager of Wellman's Funeral Home in Shreveport. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bossier City.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs Inez Gregory of Bossier City, one daughter Mary Ann Gregory Perry of New Orleans and one grandchild Dody Lynn Perry also of New Orleans,La.
Pallbearers will be John Umphries (of Wellman Funeral Home, Gordon Allen of Superior Funeral Cars, Mack Bankson of Wellman Funeral Home,Fred Lofton neighbor , Bill Stinson a neighbor and Benton Vandevender nephew of Greenville, Mississippi.
