Pauline Aiken Bagby
Mrs. Pauline Aiken Bagby, age 94, died Monday, September 27, 2004 at the Westhaven Living Center in Abingdon. She was a former resident of Richmond before moving to the Abingdon a few years ago. Mrs. Bagby was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Gotham and was the widow of John Bagby, Jr. She is survived by a son John Bagby III of Richmond; a daughter, Pauline Bagby Gotham of Abingdon; a sister, Phyllis A. Todd of Richmond; five granddaughters, Helen G. Henley of Abingdon, Anne G. Thompson of Harrisonburg, VA, Lee B. Vivarette of Richmond, Sarah P. Bagby of Richmond and Elizabeth Bagby of Charleston, SC; nine great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to Linda Houser for her devoted care and attention to Mrs. Bagby. The funeral service will be held Thursday in the Westhampton Baptist Church in Richmond with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to the Westhampton Baptist Church, 6112 Three Chopt Road, Richmond, VA 23226-2732. Mrs. Bagby has been taken to the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Avenue, Richmond .
