Alfreda was the only daughter of Stanley Ellis 'Dick' Cutright and his wife Ruby May Rader of Valley Head, WV. She had two brothers, Allen "Bennie" and Archie.
Alfreda first married Everett Leon Brown, with whom she had eight children: Leonard Hugh (died in infancy), Cindy May, Greg L, Randall E, Timothy E, Jennifer Lynn and Cheryl Kay. Alfreda and Everett divorced. Everett died in 2002.
Alfreda then married Paul Bernard Moore. They had no children together. Paul died in 2001.
Alfreda grew up at Huttonsville in Randolph County and was a graduate of Tygart Valley High School. She worked as an EMT with Belington Rescue Squad and a Nursing Assistant at the Elkins Regional Convalescent Center. She retired in 1992.
Alfreda was a long-time resident of Belington, WV and of the Methodist faith. She was very active in the PTA when her children were young, and twice served as PTA president. She was a member of Belington #68 Order of the Eastern Star.
Alfreda died of lung cancer at the Davis Medical Center in Elkins, WV.
In addition to six of her seven children, Alfreda left behind sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. 'Grandma Freddie' will be sadly missed by all.
