Mrs. Armenia Dougherty, 73, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 9th, 2013.

Mrs. Dougherty was born on August 5th, 1940, in Sayre, Oklahoma to the late Oliver Dillard Selby and Othella Maxine York Selby. She was the secretary at the Central Office for Reidsville City Schools and South End Elementary and also worked at Reidsville Middle School. She retired in 1998 after 17 years. She loved reading, scrap-booking and playing games, especially charades. She loved spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Kenneth Dale Dougherty.

Mrs. Dougherty is survived by her three sons; her four grandchildren; three brothers.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Pastor Gary Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
