Leanna was the daughter of Lee Roy and Jennie Naylor Osborne. After the death of their mother, she and her brother, Perry, were raised in the household of their uncle and aunt, John and Susie Naylor Osborne.
She married Armster, son of Erastus and Emaline Goforth Bruner, on September 9th, 1922, in Nicholsville. At the time of their marriage, Armster was widowed. His first wife, Clossie Bennett Bruner, passed away in 1918.
Leanna helped her husband to raise his children by that marriage. In addition, they were the parents of Anna Neale, Armster, Jr., Dorothy, Jewell, Martha Jean, Thomas Nolan, Robert Perry and Rollie J. Bruner.
•Obituary-Leanna Osborne Bruner, 71, died March 8, 1975 in Garrard County, Ky. She was the widow of the late Armster Bruner, Sr. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Otis Duncan, Rt. 2, Lancaster, Saturday morning. She was a native of Garrard County, a daughter of the late Roy and Jennie Naylor Osborne.
She is also survived by five other daughters, Mrs. George Compton, Nicholasville, Mrs. Brutus Peel, Jessamine County, Mrs. Leon Freeman and Mrs. Joe Goldey, both of Louisville, and Mrs. Owen Walling, Lexington; six sons, Carl, Claude and Tommy Bruner, all of Nicholasville, Armster Bruner, Jr., Jessamine County, and Robert P. Bruner, Frankfort, and Rollie J. Bruner, Garrard County, one sister, Mrs. Joe Naylor, Woodford County.
Bearers will be Rollie G., Wallace D., Larry and Armster B.Bruner III, Danny Goldey, Benny Peel and Lowell Duncan. Burial in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
