"Virgie" was born in Philadelphia; the second of eight children.
He married "Millie" Liparote in 1939 and
they had two children, Raymond and Elaine.
He was a pipe fitter at the Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia during WW II.
After the war he worked at a Bakery,
a Service Station, had his own Dry Cleaners,
and owned a Steak Shop.
In 1975 he retired and moved to his summer home in Villas, NJ, and lived there until his death.
He is survived by his son and daughter and six of his seven grandchildren.
