Lemuel B. Gearhart
Lemuel B. Gearhart died suddenly at his home, 725 Frederick Road, Thursday evening at 9 o’clock of a heart attack, after an illness of a few hours, aged 41 years. He was a son of Martin and Catherine (Welty) Gearhart and was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Besides his wife, Nellie, he is survived by the following: Daughter, Hilda; sons, Bruce, Robert and John; sister, Mrs. Bessie C. Dorsey, this city; brothers, Edward and Harry, Waynesboro; Alvey, of California, and Ahuer [spelling unclear] Gearhart, this city. The body was removed to the funeral home of A. K. Coffman, where services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, by Rev. A. B. Miller, assisted by Rev. David R. Petre. Interment in Broadfording Cemetery.
