Funeral services for Irma Estelle Williams Vice, 85 of North Zulch were conducted at the Iola Worship Center in Iola. Rev. Billy Dale Evans officiated. Burial followed in the Bedias Methodist Cemetery in Bedias.
Vice was born June 19, 1928 in Iola to Asa and Alda Williams, and died Tuesday April 1. 2014, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was married to the love of her life, John C. Vice, on Aug. 13, 1956. Vice loved spending time with her family, and was never happier than when ws surrounded by them. She carried a deep love for her children and had a special love for all of her grandchildren. Vice was a helping hand, spirited leader and a dear friend.
She was preceded in death by parents Asa and Alda Williams; three brothers; four sisters; and two sons; Douglas Vice and David Stephens.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, John C. Vice; two daughters, Debra McGinty and husband Carl "Possum" of North Zulch, and Linda Collins and husband Charles of Jarrell; 12 grandchildren, Kay, Charley Bill, Brandi, Scott, Kelby, AJ, Tiffany, Jason, Dusty, Riz, John and Trace; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces, and nephews, family members and friends.
Cozart Funeral Home of Normangee was in charge of arrangements.
