NEWBERRY - Mrs. Dezaree Young Addison Addy, 78, of 2201 1/2 Harper St., a retired employee of Newberry Hospital, widow of George Addy, died Sunday.

A native of Lancaster County, daughter of the late Charles M. and Lillie Westmoreland Young, she was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Lucy Epps Bible Class and Golden Age Fellowship.

Surviving are a son, Richard E. Addison of Newberry; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Molden of Greenwood, Mrs. Barbara Stutts of Spartanburg, and Mrs. Mary Ann McCullough. of Newberry; a stepson, Frank L. Addy of Greenwood; four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Boozer, Mrs. Noleeka Foster, and Mrs. Iva Windsor of Clinton and Mrs. Magatha Lindler of Whitmire; two brothers, Charles V. Young of Florida and Cecil Young of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at McSwain Funeral Home, with burial in Baxter Cemetery.

The family is at the home of Richard E. Addison, Lindsey Circle.
