Robert J. "Buck" LaDieu, 63, of Fort Walton Beach, formerly of Corning, N.Y. died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, following an extended illness.
He was employed with Fort Walton Machining.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; father and stepmother, Roland and Jeanne LaDieu Sr. of Corning, N.Y.; mother and stepfather, Mary and Arthur Volpe of Painted Post, N.Y.; three brothers, Roland LaDieu of Beaver Dams, N.Y., Richard LaDieu, of Woodhull, N.Y. and Rodney LaDieu, of Flat Rock, N.C.; a half-brother, Ronald Eric LaDieu of Colman, Pa.; two half-sisters, Renee Painter of Wayne, N.Y. and Rhonda Manny of Wellsville, N.Y.; three sons, Robert and Randy LaDieu, both of Ithaca, N.Y. and Terry Powers of Portland, Maine; a daughter, Tabitha LaDieu of Navarre, Fla.; and two stepdaughters, Amy Hand and Holly Johnson, both of Waverly, N.Y.
