Earl "Wayne" Clark, 63, of Montross, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. He retired from Dahlgren Naval Surface Weapons Center in 1994. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era and earned two medals including The National Defense Service Medal and The Vietnam Service Medal with three stars. He also received the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon.
Wayne was a Charter member and Life member of the Montross Volunteer Rescue Squad. He coached 17 consecutive years of Little League Football and multiple sports through the Westmoreland County Recreation Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Elizabeth Clark; sisters, Charlotte Bartlett and Patricia Douglas. He is survived by best friend and wife, Linda Clark; daughter and son-in-law Christine Reynolds and husband Tim; sons, Kevin Clark and Alicia Holland, Stephen Clark and Pamela Abbott; six grandchildren, Jennifer McMinn, Andrew and Matthew Wilson, Hannah and Tiffany Clark and Aaron Clark; two great-grandchildren Conner McMinn and Kayleigh Wilson; brother Otis Clark.

A memorial service was held Saturday, October 15, at Currioman Baptist Church, Zacata, Virginia.
