Josephine Bartorelli Burns passed away at the age of 94 at the Highland Manor. She was born at the Salicchi Ranch in the Lamoille area. She was raised in Elko and attended Elko schools. In her younger years she worked for the Reinhart Co. and later as a secretary for Elko Grammar School No. 2. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Elko PEO Sisterhood, active in the Elko Hospital Auxiliary, and the Washer Ladies. She was preceded in death by her first husband Albert Cosgrove and her second husband Robley E Burns, her parents Joseph and Cesarina Bartorelli, brothers Caesar, Tedo and Memo Bartorelli. She is survived by her son Terry (Linda) Cosgrove of San Rafael, CA, grandsons Christopher and Casey Cosgrove, sister-in-law Josephine Bartorelli and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is also survived by her adopted family, sons Robley E Burns Jr. (Gladys) of Elko, Lynn Burns (June) of Surprise, AZ, daughter Pam Yeager (Charles) of Roseville, CA, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
