Turner was the son of Solomon Peter & Emma (Sadie) Belle Morris.

Turner Bagby, son of Pete Bagby and Sadie (Morris) Bagby, was born June 20, 1924, in Stilwell and departed this life to be with our Lord Friday, Ja. 21, 2000, at Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs, Ark, at the age of 75 years and 7 months.
Turner served his countryproudly during World War II where he was awarded the Silver Star. He was a family man who enjoyed very much the duties that followed his role as father and grandfather. He worked for Ozark Electric
Coop for over 22 years before retirement in 1974.
He is preceded in death by both parents, Pete and Sadie Bagby and three brothers, Bob, Billy and J.H. Bagby.
He is survived by one son, Jim Bagby and wife Mary of Westville; one daughter, Brenda Dorr and husband Carl of Wagoner; two brothers, Howard Bagby of Chester, Calif., and Conley Bagby of Siloam Springs, Ark.; one sister, Beatrice Pershal and husband James of West Fork, Ark.; two grandchildren, Robert Neal Bagby and wife Libbie of Westville and Seth Bagby of Westville; one great-grandchild, Brennan Bagby of Westville.
He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan 23, 2000, at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Westville with Bro. Jim Beavers of Watts officiating. Interment followed at the Old Baptist Mission Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Westville.
