William"Bill"Jackson,55 of Panama died on Saturday, Jan.15,in his home.
He was born on Aug.13,1944 in Litchfield, the son of the late Hubert and Charlotte(Fogle)Jackson. On May 15,1985,he married Barb Jackson in Las Vegas and she survives.
A graduate of Litchfield High School, he was a veteran of the Vietnam WAr and a member of the Litchfield VFW Commander as well as Past State VFW Commander. He was also a memeber of the Litchfield Moose Lodge No.1634.
He is survived by two step-daughters Jennifer Funk and Jaime Casey, both of Hillsboro; two brothers; two sisters; and five step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21 at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Full Military rites will be conducted by Litchfield VFW Post No.3912.
