I have been to Rufus grave in Oaklawn Cem. Sturgis, Mich but did not record plot reference.His parents Jesy 1809-1882 & Esther (Keller)(Royer)Snook 1808-1871 are buried at Plesant Hill Cem.Noble Twp. Branch Co.,Michigan. We did take pictures at both cemeteries.His wife Ester(West) Snook was born 1855, Branch Co., Mich. to James Burr & Olive Lodema (Roberts) West.She went to Denver,Co to live with a daughter after her children were grown."Etta" died in 1951. She is buried next to Rufus and a son Jesse James Snook at OaklawnCem. Sturgis. Rufus and "Etta" had 6 children. His obit. states that he worked at the Freeland Tank Factory, died at his home on W. Congress. Rev.Clark officiated from the M.E. Church.
