Joshua was born Jan. 24, 1984, in Freeport. He graduated from Sweeny High School in 2002, where he embraced his natural ability to entertain as their bulldog mascot. Joshua brought joy to all of those around him. However, the biggest joy in Joshua's life was his wife, Samantha, whom he married June 7, 2008. Joshua was a member of Needville Church of Christ, where he also ministered. When he was not preaching, Joshua spent time as a counselor at Sweeny Junior High School, as well at Peach Valley Christian Youth Camp and Camp Hensel. Whether in a church, in front of a crowd of many, or one-on-one with a family member or friend, Joshua brought love, joy, peace and laughter to every life he touched and will be deeply missed and remembered often.
