Marylin Louise Davis Anderson passed away Sunday January 13, 2008 at her home.

A third generation Longmonter, she was the daughter of Theophilus and Esther (Henry) Davis.

She graduated in 1947 from Longmont High School, and in 1951 from Colorado Teacher's College in Greeley.

Marylin married Ray Anderson in 1952 in Phoenix, Arizona. They lived in several locations during Ray's Air Force career. They moved to Longmont in 1963.

She was a member AAUW and of Central Presbyterian Church where she was a member of Deborah Circle. She was an avid bridge player for many, many years. Marylin and Ray enjoyed traveling together, especially after Ray's retirement. They had visited most of the 50 states. She loved her family and her pets. Marylin cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister Margaret Ann.

Marylin is survived by her husband Ray of Longmont, son Rick Anderson of Longmont, daughter Karen Ward and her husband Greg of Greeley, four grandchildren Brandon, Laura and Kyle Ward and Lindsay Marie Hoppe, and two brothers Bill and Dennis Davis.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00am Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Central Presbyterian Church, Rev. Dr. Glenn Perica officiating.

Cremation at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.

Memorial contributions to Muscular Dystrophy Association may be sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
