Graveside services for Mrs. Anne Porch Dodd, 91, of 1506 41st Av. E., will be Wednesday in Acacia, directed by Butterworth's mortuary. The time will be announced. She died yesterday at her home.
Mrs. Dodd, born near Bloomington, Ind., was graduated from the University of Indiana. Her husband, Werter David, died in 1959. They had been married 62 years.
Mr. Dodd published a newspaper in La Grande, Ore., three years before going to Tacoma in 1901. He joined the editorial staff of the Tacoma Ledger, then went to Bellingham, where he became managing editor of The Bellingham Herald. The Dodds moved to Goldendale, Klickitat County, in 1912, then ranched in the Yakima Valley from 1915 until coming to Seattle 11 years ago, from Harrah, Yakima County.
Mrs. Dodd was prominent in the Parent-Teacher Association and the State Federation of Women's Clubs many years. She also was active in leading Indian-education programs on the Yakima Reservation.
Surviving are two sons, Gordon B., Seattle, and Gregory E. Dodd, Portland.
