Funeral of Mrs. Schottner
The funeral services of Mrs. Ed Schottner who resided on the State Aid Road and died at the hospital Monday morning was held from the home ot her sister, Mrs. Harry Schmuck on Belle street this after noon at 2:30 O'clock.
Mrs. Summerland of the Christian Science Church In Alton had charge of the services at the house after which the remains were laid to rest in the City Cemetery. Mrs. Schottner was 18 years of age and leaves one child, Francis, aged 11 months. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Cassello, of Niagara Addition, one brother and one sister in Alton, one sister here, Mrs. Harry Schmuck and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Moore, of McKlnney, Texas, besides her husband to mourn her loss. Mr. and Mrs. Schottner have been married for three years. She was an Alton girl, Miss Alice Casello.
