Officer Thomas Duggan, a 25-year veteran of the force, died February 22, 1972, of injuries suffered three days earlier when he was punched by a youth he was trying to eject from George Washington High School. He suffered a fractured rib and punctured lung. The youth was charged only with disorderly conduct.

Suddenly, Feb. 22, 1972, THOMAS K., of 6373 Ditman st., husband of Roseann Duggan (nee Hilferty), father of Thomas, Jr., and Rose Mary Hollway. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral on Sat., 8:30 A. M., from the Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford ave. (at Fitler st.). Mass of the Resurrection, 10 A. M., St. Leo's Church. Viewing Fri. eve. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Abbey, Newton, N. J.
