Henry D Alexander, 68, of Wilson, died yesterday in Chickasawba Hospital.
A farmer, he was born at Wilson and was a lifelong resident of that city. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Dolly Alexander, Wilson;
Two sons, Henry Alexander, Joliet, Ill, and Charles Alexander, Osceola.
One stepson, Fred Coburn, Little Rock.
Four daughters, Mrs Juanita Krause and Mrs George Roberts, both of Jonesboro, Mrs Betty Little, Memphis, and Mrs Linda Jones, Rockford, Ill.
Two stepsisters, Mrs Peggy Bishoff and Mrs Willdean Langston, both of Osceola; Five sisters, Mrs Florence Kelner, Mrs Thelma Wheeler and Mrs Jean Nash, all of Wilson, Mrs Gertrude Brigance, Greenville, Miss, and Mrs Serena Nichols, Miami, Fla.
Twenty-three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Service will be at 3:30 pm tomorrow in the Wilson Baptist Church, Rev Roy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Bassett Cemetery with Swift Funeral Home in charge.
