Jack was born February 12, 1948, in Marshfield, WI to John and Elfreda Carpenter. He is survived by his partner, Judy Novotny; his two sons, Chad (Kim) Carpenter of Bloomington, IL and Troy (Erin) Carpenter of Fishers, IN; four grandchildren, Zachary, Ethan, Sophia, and Alison; brothers Guy (Bonnie) Carpenter of Marshfield and Curly (Mary) Carpenter of Marshfield; sisters Starr Carpenter Le Voy of Marshfield, Melisande Carpenter of Marshfield, and Sunday (Jeffery) Brummet of Kenosha. He is further survived by loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and a niece.
Jack was an avid Harley rider who shared many miles of his life with friends as an active member of the Harley Owners Group and Vendetta Motorcycle Club of Dixon, IL.
Cremation rites were accorded by Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel & Crematory in Knoxville, TN. Memorials in Jack’s name can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
