Rites in Seattle for Former Resident
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Booth-Ashmore Funeral Home in Seattle, Wash. for Mrs. Georia E. VansCoy of 607 Reed Street, Sedro Woolley.
Mrs. VansCoy's death occurred early Monday, July 30, in the Sedro Woolley hospital after a short illness.She was born on Jan. 31, 1885 at Danville, Ill. and was married on April 9, 1905, to C. Beryle VansCoy at Chillicothe.
Most of their married life was spent farming in Missouri and Iowa. In 1942, they moved to Seattle, where in 1953 Mr. VansCoy died.
Survivors include one son, Robert Lee VansCoy, Tipton, Ia; two daughters, Mrs. John Davis, Clarence, Ia; and Mrs. Kenneth Bachtel, Mt. Vernon, Wash; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grand children. Burial was in the family lot at the Evergreen Park cemetery, Seattle.
