Lester Gaddy was the son of Daniel and Lulu M. Nettleton Gaddy. Born in Colorado on March 16, 1899.
Married Aletta B. Dye. Lived in Seattle Washington, where his 5 children were born. Betty Jean, Dorothy Faye, Lester Neil jr., Peggie Marie and Dale Eugene.
Lester and Aletta divorced in California in 1934.
Aletta died in a nursing home in Los Angeles in 1936 leaving 5 children behind.
There were rumors that Lester Sr. changed his name to Ross Gaddy and moved to Florida leaving 4 of children to be raised by family in Oregon. UPDATE: I am most certain I have found the burial place of Lester Gaddy. Years of searching records, I came across a burial at this cemetery with the surname "Gaddy", no given name, month and year of death May 1939. He is buried in a paupers grave. The dates, place, name and the fact that he was buried in a paupers grave all match up.
Lester's wife, Aletta Gaddy, died in Los Angeles in 1938 from TB. I believe Lester may have contracted TB and went to N.M. for the dry climate.
