At 8:30pm on December 2, 2008, William ran across Pacific Coast Highway, at the intersection of Sunset Blvd. and Pacific Coast Highway, was struck by an SUV, and killed instantly. The driver of the SUV fled the scene.
"Sir William", as he was called, the name given to him by the beach lifeguards, He would greet you with a shakespearean bow and litergy.
William adopted his "power spot", his spiritual point, Castle Rock. The staircase from nowhere, that opened up to the beach, became his project. William built a beautiful walkway of stone down to the beach from his staircase. Some of the stone weighed 400 pounds. He leveraged the stones around with an 8 foot 2 by 4. It was utterly amazing!
Willam is survived by a twin sister, and many other family members.
