Gloria M. Maisti CHESAPEAKE - Gloria Mae Maisti, 79, passed away peacefully April 12, 2008, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. She was born in Washington, D.C., Oct. 18, 1928. She was a member of The Church of the Resurrection. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Maisti. Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Sharon M. White and husband Chuck of Woodbury Heights, N.J., Debbye Curran and husband Brad of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Courtney Bass and husband Cameron of Portsmouth, Bryce Curran and fiancee Michelle Harrison of Portsmouth, Chas White of Woodbury Heights, N.J., and Amanda White of Rockaway, N.J.; and a host of other family and many close friends. A memorial service will be held during the 9 a.m. Mass Wednesday with Father Michael Boehling officiating. In accordance with her wishes, her body was donated to the Virginia Anatomical Program for medical education.
